Westchester RiverWalk Connection

Indigo River is providing owner’s representative services to Scenic Hudson for the Westchester RiverWalk Connection, a 0.9-mile shared-use trail along the Hudson River shoreline in Tarrytown that will complete a critical missing link in the Westchester RiverWalk, a proposed 51-mile trail (32 miles of which are complete). The Proposed Project achieves multiple objectives by providing alternative transportation to automobile travel, including a direct pedestrian and bicycle connection to Tarrytown Station that will reduce the parking demand and traffic in the area, as well as bicycle/pedestrian connections between emerging waterfront development, existing neighborhoods, important historic sites, access to the Hudson River, and recreational opportunities. Indigo River is proud to partner with Scenic Hudson and support the organization’s legacy of advancing balanced and sustainable development. 

Indigo River is providing a range of owner’s representative and project management services, including the development and issuance of RFPs, schedule and budget management, and agency and consultant coordination. In addition to managing project permitting and design development, Indigo River has also prepared the SEQR Environmental Assessment application and will manage the SEQR and NEPA environmental review and associated studies in coordination with a consultant.
