South Cove Jetty

Indigo River provided waterfront and marine construction management services to Walker Diving to assist in completion of the reconstruction of the South Cove Jetty in Battery Park City. Work included construction administrative assistance and execution of an electrical subcontract. Walker Diving was contracted by Battery Park City Authority (BPCA) to complete the construction of the jetty. 

Indigo River developed and solicited proposals for an electrical subcontractor who possessed a M/WBE certification as well as USL&H insurance in order to comply with BPCA’s labor and insurance requirements for the project. No such contractor was found so Indigo River solicited a proposal from Scientific Electric, who possesses USL&H insurance, after a waiver from BPCA was approved to forego the M/WBE requirement. Indigo River administered the execution of a contract between Walker Diving and Scientific Electric, onboarded Scientific Electric to the status of the project, and coordinated their work to adhere with Walker Diving’s construction schedule.
